Coaching Call
Whether you want help honing your idea, are stuck mid-draft, or need a final push to get to the end, I can help. On a one-hour video call we’ll talk through exactly what’s stopping you, brainstorm solutions, and I’ll give you clear feedback and practical tools to get you over the line.
I’ll send you full notes after the call, and be around to answer brief questions over the next couple of weeks by email, to make sure you’re on the right track.
Ready to get unstuck? Book your call below, and you’ll get a video link emailed to you – send over reading material two business days in advance, and I’ll come to the call with feedback ready. I work across most genres of adult fiction except science-fiction and fantasy, but do not work on children’s, non-fiction, screenplays or poetry. If in doubt, drop me a line before you book and I’m happy to advise whether I would be the right editor for you.

Query-Package Review
If you’re about to query – or you’re already querying but aren’t getting the right response – a query-package review can help tighten things up to ensure you’re pitching your book in the best possible way and making it as easy as possible for agents to say ‘yes’.
With full feedback across all elements of your package – query letter, synopsis and first ten thousand words – plus a proofread of your opening chapters, you’ll have everything you need to polish your queries and give your novel its best chance of success. And if you want a second look at your query letter and synopsis within the first month after submitting to me, I’ll reread them when you’ve made revisions.
Book a slot below, and send over your documents to me by that date – and I’ll get everything turned around for you within a week. I work across most genres of adult fiction except science-fiction and fantasy, but do not work on children’s, non-fiction, screenplays or poetry. Please note that this package does not include a video call: the slot you book is the time I will start reading your documents.

Cancellation and refund policy
I work across most genres of adult fiction, with the exception of science-fiction and fantasy. I do not work on children's fiction, non-fiction, screenplays or poetry. If you book for a project outside these genres, I reserve the right to cancel your booking and issue a full refund.
Coaching Calls
If you need to reschedule or cancel your coaching call, please let me know as soon as possible by email.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled call are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your call are not eligible for a refund, but you may reschedule your call once, to a date within 30 days of your original booking. If you do not attend your call without prior notice, the full fee is forfeited.
Please note that refunds do not include payment processing fees.
Query-Package Reviews
If you need to reschedule or cancel your query-package booking, please let me know by email before your scheduled submission date.
Cancellations made before you have submitted your documents are eligible for a full refund. Once your documents have been received, work begins immediately and no refund can be issued.
If you do not submit your documents by your scheduled submission date without prior notice, your slot will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. If you know in advance that you need to move your submission date, please get in touch as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you, subject to availability.
